Drunk driving is a serious problem in South Carolina and contributes to many fatal and serious bodily injury accidents.  38% of all traffic fatalities last year were caused by drunk drivers.  The legal limit for blood alcohol concentration in the South Carolina for drivers 21 years of age or older is .08 or higher; just a few drinks can put a driver over the limit.
